Our students have real improvement.
While our students are young, we focus on building a solid English foundation and a love for reading and using English. After a strong English foundation has been built, we can better prepare students for the HKDSE. Unlike many DSE subjects, English primarily requires a real ability in the language to achieve a good score. By developing students’ English from the base up, the success our students have in the HKDSE greatly improves. About 70% of our long-term students will achieve a HKDSE score of 5 or better with about 40% of them receiving 5* or 5**. Unlike many education centres, we achieve this success without expelling lazy or less talented students. Just as important, most of our long-term students become so proficient in speaking English that many of them have been mistaken for native English speakers.

A key reason why is that we believe a student must passionately use a language in order to learn it well. Mr. Justin Saley is a gifted game designer. He has spent much of the last 21 years creating specialized activities and games to accelerate students’ English progression. These tools accelerate students’ improvement in dozens of areas at a more enjoyable and faster pace than traditional methods. Mr. Saley has created drills and games for proofreading, prepositions, verb tenses, infinitives and gerunds, reported speech, pronunciation, speaking, phonics, vocabulary, and more.

We want you to improve, and we have the tools and experience to get the job done. When we started our business many years ago, we wanted to ensure that our students would have real improvement that could be verified over time. This is why we developed record sheets that are filled out regularly. Both parents and students can view these record sheets to see the improvement over time. The record sheets also motivate most students to work harder.

Unlike many other education centres, our teachers are a husband-and-wife team who are also the owners of Franjus Teaching Centre.
